8 week series

All pregnant women should consider taking           Pre-Natal Yoga. There is such a strong correlation between yoga and labour. The relaxation, the breathing and the comfortable positions are exactly what you need to do in labour!! 


Join us in the studio for classes during your pregnancy. Our yoga instructors will guide you through gentle poses, breathing & relaxation techniques that are wonderful for comfort during pregnancy. These techniques & poses are also excellent for labour preparation. Remember, labour preparation includes both mind & body. It is advisable to begin pre-natal yoga after your 1st trimester (you may start earlier if you are currently physically active). Yoga can be continued to the end of your pregnancy and right through labour!


In Pre-Natal Yoga, you will learn and develop several useful techniques, including:


~ movements and strategies to relieve common discomforts of pregnancy (backache, digestive difficulties, sciatica etc.


~ advantageous positions for labour and delivery to promote an easier birth


~ breathing and relaxation techniques to help maintain focus, calm and relaxation throughout your pregnancy and delivery
